Road Wise Resolution

I pledge to make smart, informed choices that protect my future and the well-being of those around me. I understand that my actions matter – on the road, at school, at home, and in life – because I matter, I have a purpose, and I care about myself and others.

I commit to:

  • Stay drug-free. I will not use alcohol, tobacco, vapes, or any illegal or harmful substances. I understand the risks, and I choose to protect my health and my future.

  • Drive safely and responsibly. I will never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and I will not ride with someone who is impaired. I will always wear a seatbelt, obey speed limits, avoid distractions like texting, and follow traffic laws to keep myself and others safe.

  • Look out for my friends. I will be a good friend by encouraging safe choices and stepping in when someone is at risk. I won’t stay silent if I know someone needs help.

  • Speak up and seek help. If I or someone I know is struggling with substance use, abuse, or addiction, I will talk to a trusted adult, counselor, or professional. I know that asking for help is a sign of strength.

  • Be a positive influence. I will lead by example and be a voice for kindness, respect, and good judgment in my school and community.

  • Respect myself and others. I will treat others with dignity, stand up against bullying or peer pressure, and create an environment where everyone feels safe and valued.

  • Own my decisions. I take responsibility for my choices and understand that the paths I take today shape the future I create for myself.

By signing this pledge, I commit to living with courage, awareness, and integrity. I choose to be proactive. I choose to protect my future.
